Vitrine / About

A considered perspective. Vitrine.

Vitrine translates a retail identity into a physical experience. We consider how customers discover products, how staff operate and how each detail supports the brand.

OUR POINT OF VIEW

Beautiful spaces.
Clear responsibilities.

Stores that translate a brand into a practical customer and staff experience. The first step is to understand the place and the brief, then identify the design, delivery and specialist work needed.

Your proposal names the contracting parties and the people responsible for the agreed work. Design, supply, installation and specialist reviews are defined so you know where each responsibility sits.

Vitrine is a specialist brand within the Fitworks collection. When a brief extends beyond our focus, we can connect the relevant services as part of your overall project plan.

How we work

Thoughtful design

Begin with use, proportion and the existing place. Make each decision part of a coherent whole.

Specific proposals

Define what is included, what needs investigation and what must be decided before work begins.

Connected delivery

Coordinate the interfaces between specialists and record the information needed for a considered handover.

OUR POINT OF VIEW

Translate your brand into a useful customer experience.

Vitrine considers a store from both sides of the counter. Customers need to understand the offer, move comfortably, inspect products and complete a purchase. Staff need practical replenishment, storage, service and closing routines.

The retail identity comes through proportion, materials, light and the way products are displayed. Those decisions should be tested against the actual merchandise rather than developed as an empty interior that is filled at the end.

Our approach connects brand expression with everyday operation. A clear brief coordinates the shopfront, sales floor, lighting, display joinery and support spaces, with fabrication and opening dependencies made visible early.

01

Plan the customer journey

Map arrival, discovery, product comparison, fitting or consultation and payment. Consider what customers should see first and where they need room to pause without blocking circulation.

02

Design around real products

Use the actual size, weight, packaging and quantity of merchandise to test shelves, hanging rails, display heights and replenishment. A beautiful display still needs to work when stocked.

03

Make change practical

Discuss seasonal layouts, replacement graphics, adjustable fixtures and access to lighting. A retail environment should account for how the offer will evolve after opening.
